SW5D3070: the new three-axis stepper drive with integrated PLC

Presented at SPS IPC Drives in Nuremberg, the SW5D3070_473 from the Titanio line is the programmable three-axis stepper drive that takes automation to the next level. Designed to simplify integration and deliver advanced performance, it combines cutting-edge features with the quality of Made in Italy.

Thanks to its Stand-Alone mode with integrated PLC, it allows you to manage complex applications without an external controller. Programming is fast and intuitive via service USB and our e³PLC Studio IDE software, which also offers real-time debugging. The drive supports multiple positioning modes and includes advanced functions such as Torque Mode, Electronic Cam, and Electronic Shaft, ideal for applications requiring precision and synchronization.

The new drive SW5D3070 is Multiprotocol and compatible with major fieldbus systems, including ProfiNet, EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, PowerLink, and Modbus TCP/IP, ensuring maximum integration flexibility. Vector control and closed-loop management of torque, speed, and position guarantee smooth and silent movements, reducing noise and motor heating. Additionally, support for incremental or absolute encoder feedback further enhances system stability and accuracy.
